Bruce R. Schemehorn holds the position of President and CEO of Therametric Technologies, Inc. He has been working in the area of dental product testing since 1973. After receiving his Bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1972, he completed a Master of Science degree in Dental Sciences from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1985. After retiring from the Oral Health Research Institute of Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005, he joined TTI as the Director of the division of DPT. As a principal investigator, he oversaw contract research for DPT.  Mr. Schemehorn retired from TTI in 2017 only to be call back in 2022 as President and CEO following the death of Dr. Stookey.  His high Midwest values and standards are applied to every study he works with at TTI. Mr. Schemehorn has lectured and consulted throughout the United States and abroad and is a recognized expert in the field of dental product research. He is a member of the IADR (International Association for Dental Research), AADR (American Association for Dental Research) and ORCA (European Organization for Caries Research) and has been a scientific advisor to the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs, a delegate for the US to the International Standards Organization Sub-Committee 7 on dental products and a manuscript reviewer for several dental research journals. He has authored or coauthored 5 chapters in reference books, 45 articles in scientific journals and over 110 scientific presentations on research models and model development.

Evan M. Howard joined Therametric Technologies in 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer. Evan attended Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business management with a minor in human resources. He further his education at Southern Illinois University School of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate focused on corporate law and trial litigation. Evan still holds active law licenses in the State of Missouri, State of Alabama and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri.

Prior to joining Therametric, Evan was the Managing Partner of Howard Haake, LLC, a St. Louis, Missouri based law firm. In his position at Howard Haake, he grew a small solo practitioner law firm into a multifaceted law firm with multiple attorneys and support staff.

Nathan R. Hoover joined Therametric Technologies in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. Nathan is an experienced corporate advisor and consultant, with demonstrated success partnering with management teams and boards during transitional periods, and expertise guiding stressed and distressed businesses, across a range of industries, to improved outcomes. Prior to his consulting work, Nathan held various corporate finance roles with Thomson Reuters, Refinitiv and New York-based private equity firm kgb.

Nathan attended Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where he received a Bachelor of Science with majors in accounting and finance with a minor in international business.

Dr. Robert L. Karlinsey is the Chief Scientific Officer of Therametric Technologies, Inc. He earned a BS in Physics (University of Scranton) and PhD in Chemical Physics (Indiana University), with postdoctoral work in physical chemistry (Indiana University). As a visiting assistant research professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, his research led to an impactful encounter with Dr. George Stookey, and shortly thereafter, the formation of the startup company Indiana Nanotech, LLC. Dr. Karlinsey is the inventor of Nanotech’s functionalized tricalcium phosphate systems, which continue to help generate over $100MM in global product sales for a major dental manufacturer.  As Principal Investigator, his work has received significant funding through Federal (NIH), State (Indiana and Texas), and industry grants and contracts. His research in patented calcium phosphate technologies continue to help generate over $100MM in global product sales. Additionally, Dr. Karlinsey has served as adjunct professor of chemistry at the University of Indianapolis.

Working with the high-quality, experienced team at TTI, his goal is to expand TTI’s offerings through new research, formulation, and evaluation methodologies to help meet clients’ needs in preventive and cosmetic dentistry.

Gary began working as a laboratory research assistant at the Preventive Dentistry Research Institute at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1967. In this capacity he served as an assistant for numerous research projects and their required analytical assessments. With increasing experiences his responsibilities increased and he has served as the senior laboratory technician for numerous investigations during the past 38 years.

These experiences included, for example, the determination of the fluoride content of various types of biological materials, the determination of the effect of fluoride treatments on enamel solubility, similar assessments of fluoride treatment effects using recycling remin-demin models, radiotracer measurements of enamel and dentin abrasion, and other types of laboratory tests developed to assess the merits of dental products. Gary formally retired from Indiana University School of dentistry in September 2005 and joined the TTI team as Laboratory Manager in October 2005.

Ms. Nunez graduated with distinction from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in December, 2007 to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in public health dental hygiene. She also holds associate degrees in Broadcast Production Technology (Vincennes University, 1985) and Dental Hygiene (Indiana University School of Dentistry, 2001). She was awarded the Robert E. Cavanaugh scholarship (Indiana University, 1999) and Rebekah Fisk Memorial scholarship of the Indiana Dental Hygienist Association (Indiana University, 2000) for academic excellence.

 Ms. Nunez joined Therametric Technologies, Inc. in September of 2005. She currently directs, coordinates, and manages human clinical research studies. These studies test the safety and efficacy of dental products and devices. Her expertise includes protocol and study design development, creation and submission of regulatory paperwork, and project management.

 Additionally, Ms. Nunez is currently licensed in the state of Indiana to practice clinical dental hygiene work. Her past dental hygiene experience includes working in a variety of dental specialties over a period of five years. Most of this time was spent specializing in periodontal treatment and investigational studies involving both periodontal and caries research.
